#164 Ujjayi Pranayama
Today I learned a new breathing technique called Ujjayi Pranayama. Used for yoga and meditation it is sometimes called the "ocean sounding" breath or for those of us less in tune with nature at the moment, is best described as "Darth Vader" breath. After much practice I can't say I was anymore relaxed than when I started, which is probably more of a comment on my own state of mind and not the breathing technique. The only real effect on me was a serious case of light headedness.
