#55 Twisted

I wanted to try baking a loaf of bread from scratch today but I needed 2 bread pans, so instead I made soft pretzels from scratch. It was a lot more involved than I expected. First you have to make the dough, then you let it have some quiet time while it doubles it size, then you have to "punch"? it down. Then shape the pretzels, then bake them, then boil them, then brush them, then sprinkle them, and finally bake them again. The end result was pretty successful I have to say, much better right out of the oven than they are the next day.
