#11 Rob Roy
After work I went out with a few coworkers to a Caribbean bar and restaurant in downtown Milwaukee called Edgar's Calypso It's owned by the same owner of the design firm that I work at. I decided to try a classic old man drink, a Rob Roy. The drink is a mixture of Scotch, sweet vermouth and a dash of angostura bitters. It's named after an 18th century Scottish folk hero. Robert Roy MacGregor, considered to be the Scottish version of Robin Hood. I can't believe people drink these things! I had force myself to take every jaw clenching sip, definitely not my cup of tea.
