I bought two exotic fruits that I've never eaten before. The first was a pepino melon. It's about the size of a pear and is native to Peru but also grown in other parts of the world like New Zealand and Ecuador. It tasted slightly like a cucumber and a honeydew melon, not very sweet. I wouldn't buy it again. The other was a red papaya. I may have had papaya in something but I don't recall ever eating one by itself. The fruit was very sweet and the seeds (they're edible) tasted a lot like black pepper.
