#121 No Sense

A friend gave me a suggestion that some of his colleagues had come up with, to go without one of my senses for awhile, so I went blindfolded for the evening – almost 5 hours. Definitely one of the more interesting experiences I've had and probably not the best night to have tacos for dinner. Once the novelty of it wore off after the first hour, it was hard not to think of the impact it would have on your life. Other than the obvious physical obstacles, it was the other little things like not being able to see my kids faces when they talked, reading, or even the sounds that you hear that I realize I take for granted.
